What can Dermal Fillers be used for?
There are several uses for dermal fillers, including:

Smoothing wrinkles and folds.

Smokers lines - Vertical lines above the top lip.

Nasolabial folds -Smile lines from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth.

Lip enhancement - Adding fullness to the lip/skin border and/or adding fullness to thin lips for a very natural look.

Marionette lines - long vertical lines that transverse from the corner of the lips to chin.

Adding volume using thicker fillers.

Filling sunken cheeks and weak chins.

Liquid Rhinoplasty (non surgical nose job).
Are Dermal Fillers safe?
Dermal Fillers integrate with skin tissue and allow the free passage of vital elements including oxygen and hormones, resulting in healthy, natural-looking skin. Over time they are broken down by normal biological processes and removed from the body. No long-term problems have been recorded.
Are there any long term side effects with fillers?
We only use bio-degradable products. This means that they are very low risk and do not have the long term side effects associated with other, permanent, fillers. Side effects experienced are in general things like: a small bruise to the injection site, a temporary swelling at the site, tenderness for a couple of days etc. The practitioner will explain in full prior to any treatment.
Can the fillers move to other areas?
The products which we use are all licensed and researched over many years. Once injected the product will sit in the space and cannot move or ‘float' elsewhere. Over a period of 3 -8 months on average the tissue will absorb the product and break it down slowly the product will disappear.
Will it look obvious?
The majority of clients whom have lip enhancements do not want an obvious increase in size but rather a defined boarder, or a very soft and natural 'plump' off the lips.
Will dermal fillers work for me?
Some of the results can be seen immediately. The period of benefit from this treatment varies between individuals and depends on factors such as your age, skin type and lifestyle.
